These demos accurately demonstrate what you can expect from Remote Viewing. Anyone claiming better is probably exaggerating or terribly expensive. To use Remote Viewing, high speed internet is required on BOTH ends & the higher the speed the better.

If viewing the demo at night...remember that lighting makes all the difference even with low light cameras.

Cameras that claim to see in the dark don't ...unless they are extremely expensive. Infra-red illuminators are usually required if you don't have enough ambient lighting.

It takes much less light to improve a black & white camera than a color camera. Therefore black & white can be the best choice for night use...unless money is no object.

All non-wide dynamic day/night cameras actually switch to b/w in low light conditions.

There are 3 types of vehicle sensors.

The beam type requires an outdoor beam, power to the beams & is expensive to install. Best between 2 buildings. Power required at both ends. Very stable. Trenching may be required.  Cost appx. $250.00 + tax

The motion sensing type can be completely wireless, is the least expensive & easiest to install. Can false trigger from wind & animals. Cost appx. $65 to $130.00 + tax

The magnetic type is used at most commercial "drive-thrus". They detect the metal car body. They are not triggered by people, animals or wind. They are now also available in wireless versions and are easy to install. Cost appx. $295.00 + tax

Most wireless annunciators claim 1000' transmission range... they won't do it. Expect somewhere around 300'  to 400' from outside into your house.

All are designed to sound some sort of chime to alert you to a person or vehicle approaching...but they can also be used to secure out-buildings to alert you of an intruder while you are at home. They can also be wired to switch on lights. Prices over-all vary greatly depending on what you want to do.
